Why It’s Conflation
Genocide and starvation are accusations about what a government and an army did. Courts are weighing them. Netanyahu could dispute the facts, and he did. He also said that anyone making the accusations is telling medieval lies about Jews.
What Actually Happened
Netanyahu was answering the charge of genocide and the accusation that Israel is starving Gaza. The Times of Israel noted in the same report that Israel had blocked all aid from entering Gaza for 78 days that spring, bringing it to the brink of famine.
