Why It’s Conflation
"Blood libel" is the medieval lie that Jews murder children for ritual. The Pope criticized what an army did in a war. He may be right or wrong. Chikli answered with the heaviest word there is, and said any genocide claim earns it too.
What Actually Happened
According to The Jerusalem Post, Chikli was responding to "Pope Francis's claims that Israeli soldiers target Palestinian children."
