Why It’s Conflation
A request for warrants against two officials isn’t a warrant against a people. Smotrich said it was, and compared the prosecutor to Nazi propagandists. That turns any charge against an Israeli leader into an attack on all Jews.
What Actually Happened
The chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court sought arrest warrants for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, alongside three Hamas leaders.
