Why It’s Conflation
Erdan had an argument to make: the Assembly debates Israel far more than it debates Hamas. He could have made it. He said instead that the whole body reeks of antisemitism and collaborates with Nazis. Votes about a war, even lopsided ones, are politics.
What Actually Happened
Erdan was addressing the UN General Assembly about its debates on the Gaza war. His complaint was that none of those debates focused on Hamas.
