Why It’s Conflation
The Security Council voted for an immediate ceasefire. ZOA objected that it didn’t require the hostages to be released first, and called that double standard antisemitism. A ceasefire vote is diplomacy about a war.
What Actually Happened
The resolution called for an immediate ceasefire but did not condition that call on the release of all hostages.
