Pramila Jayapal's antisemitic comments, I am disappointed to see that some of my Democrat colleagues refused to join in this effort."
Why It’s Conflation
Calling a country racist is a harsh thing to say. People say it about the United States too. It’s a statement about a state, not about Jews. Reschenthaler called it antisemitic.
What Actually Happened
Jayapal said "Israel is a racist state" at a conference, then sought to walk it back the next day.
