Why It’s Conflation
A boycott of a country is a political tactic. Cotton called it an antisemitic crusade and said the government should cut off any company that joins it. Calling it antisemitism makes that sound like protecting civil rights.
What Actually Happened
BDS is the campaign for boycotts, divestment and sanctions against Israel.
