"The list...is clearly meant to serve as a clearinghouse of information for anti-Semitic Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) campaigns targeting Israel."
Why It’s Conflation
The UN’s human-rights office published a list of companies doing business in Israeli settlements. B'nai B'rith called the list a tool for antisemitic boycott campaigns. The list is about business in occupied territory, not about Jews.
What Actually Happened
The UN Human Rights Council-mandated Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights published a database listing 112 companies with business ties to Israeli communities in the West Bank, East Jerusalem and Golan Heights.
