Why It’s Conflation
The Maccabee Task Force, the campus group Sheldon and Miriam Adelson founded and fund, calls the whole boycott movement antisemitic. Boycotts, divestment and sanctions are pressure on a government's policies, the same tools used against apartheid South Africa. Using them against Israel isn't hatred of Jews.
What Actually Happened
The BDS movement calls for boycotts of, divestment from, and sanctions on Israel over its treatment of Palestinians.
